West Texas ONE is focused on elevating higher in the New Year

As we close the book on 2025, one thing is clear West Texas ONE experienced a year of growth, momentum, and meaningful impact. From competitive success on the court to personal growth off of it, this season represented everything our organization stands for. Even more exciting, it set the foundation for what we believe will be our strongest year yet in 2026!

Raising the Bar: Introduction of NXT PRO PUMA Circuit Teams

One of the biggest milestones of 2025 was the introduction of NXT PRO PUMA Circuit teams within our organization. This step elevated the level of competition, exposure, and professionalism across our program. Competing on a nationally recognized circuit pushed our athletes to grow faster, compete harder, and see firsthand what it takes to succeed at higher levels of the game. It wasn’t just about wins and losses it was about standards, accountability, and preparing our players for the next level.

A Season of Travel, Growth, and Experience

From 5th grade all the way through 11th grade, our teams had an incredible travel season. Traveling together gave our athletes the chance to experience new environments, compete against different styles of play, and test themselves outside their comfort zones. Those road trips, hotel stays, long weekends, and close games created unforgettable moments that strengthened team bonds and built trust. More importantly, they helped our players grow not only as basketball players, but as young leaders learning resilience, communication, and confidence.

More Than Basketball: Bonding, Culture, and Life Lessons

What made 2025 truly special wasn’t just the basketball, it was the relationships. Players bonded across age groups, families connected, and coaches poured into athletes in ways that extended far beyond the court. These shared experiences helped shape the culture of West Texas ONE: a culture built on hard work, togetherness, accountability, and pride in representing our region the right way.

Expanding the Vision: Launch of the Girls Program

Another major highlight of 2025 was the addition of our girls program, led by our new Girls Director, Bryant Taylor. This move represents more than expansion, it represents opportunity. Coach Taylor brings leadership, experience, and passion that will add tremendous culture to our organization. The girls program opens new doors for current and future athletes, providing them with structured development, exposure, and a supportive environment designed to help them thrive.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As proud as we are of 2025, we are even more excited about what lies ahead. With continued growth of our PUMA Circuit teams, a strong foundation across all age groups, and the momentum of our girls program, 2026 is shaping up to be a year of even greater impact. Our commitment remains the same: to develop players, provide strong opportunities for players, build leaders, strengthen families, and represent West Texas with excellence wherever we go.

Thank you to our players, parents, coaches, supporters, and community partners for making 2025 unforgettable. The future is bright and we’re just getting started.
